(UN)TOLD summons ancestral energies to converge at Mackenzie House, affirming their experiences, and carrying the weight of intergenerational trauma. The power of communal healing radiates from the sculptures that stretch across the facade of Mackenzie House, holding space for the celebration of queer legacies, mourning and release.
Despite erasure, the resilience of communities is invoked through a series of curated wearable art pieces and performances. (UN)TOLD has been supported in part by Geary Art Crawl, Uma Nota Culture, All Ours Studio, and Workman Arts.
